Online dB was created out of Pegasus Technology Pty Ltd in 2001, with a focus on delivering Online-based systems.

As Pegasus Technology, we have been involved in the technology areas of communications, local and wide area networks, providing support, implementation and maintanence services. Pegasus Technology's focus was on providing well-designed network infrastructure and fast response to our customers needs.

Initially, Online dB's focus was on developing online high performance customized database systems in the communications market (Vodafone). Out of this we created ODB, a Java and XML based 3 tier database system.

In June 2005, we decided to extend our product range while maintaining the 'Online' flavour of our Product range by adding Hosted VoIP solutions. After extensive evaluation, we settled on the ValueNet hosted VoIP solution.
